Troye Sivan Wishes He Would Have Auditioned for This Timothee Chalamet Role

Troye Sivan has nothing but compliments for fellow actor Timothee Chalamet!

In a new interview with PopCrush, the “My My My!” singer revealed that he thought the role of Elio in Call Me By Your Name was “100 percent made for Timothee.”

In fact, Troye relates to the character so much, he wishes he would have tried out himself!

“I would have at least auditioned for Call Me By Your Name,” Troye shared. “That would’ve been fun to have a go at that. It was such a beautiful book and movie.”

“I really feel like that was the first time, pretty much ever, that I’ve looked at a character and been like, ‘I 100 percent relate to that person,’” he added. “Like every single thing, even down to his body type and the way that he looks. It’s so strange. I look at his body and I’m like, ‘That’s my body.’ Like skinny, small little nipples, pale. Like everything down to the nipples, it’s me.”

We love both of them!

Timothee is nominated for Best Actor for his role at the 2018 Academy Awards this Sunday (March 4).
