Bindi irwin & Chandler Powell Aren't In A Rush To Get Engaged

Bindi Irwin is shutting down any rumors about her getting engaged to longtime boyfriend Chandler Powell.

During an appearance on Home & Family (via US Weekly), the 19-year-old conservationist revealed that the couple has no plans to get married yet.

“That is a very, very good question and I think that at the moment everyone is kind of like, ‘Oh my goodness, are you guys going to get engaged?’ It’s all very exciting. For us, we’re just enjoying this time,” Bindi says.

She adds that they’re more ‘live in the moment’ people than checking things off a bucket list.

“As young people, it’s all about school and then college and then getting a house and getting married and that’s fantastic, but sometimes we forget to live in the now,” she says.

Bindi continues, “For us, in our relationship, we’re enjoying this moment and having so much fun traveling the world, working with animals, following our passion of conservation and just being together.”
