Alfred Molina Reportedly Joins 'Spider-Man 3' To Reprise Doctor Octopus Role!

The Spider-Man 3 cast is getting so much bigger!

It was just announced that Alfred Molina is set to reprise his role of Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus from 2004′s Spider-Man 2, according to THR.

Alfred‘s return is just the latest of past Spider-Man movie characters joining the cast of the new Sony/Disney film.

It has previously been reported that Jamie Foxx will reprise his Electro role from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and JK Simmons is also rumored to be making a return.

The biggest returns of all though, the two previous Spider-Man guys, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, are said to be suiting up as their versions, with all of these castings making the ultimate live-action Spider-Verse movie!

Collider is also now reporting that Kirsten Dunst and Emma Stone will be coming back as Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy, respectively.

The above casting announcements have not been officially announced by either Marvel, Disney or Sony, as they try to keep things super secret and under wraps. We cannot wait for this movie though, and this live-action Spider-Verse!!
