'American Housewife' & 'Mixed-Ish' Canceled At ABC

We have some sad news for these two ABC series…

American Housewife and Mixed-ish are among the just canceled shows at the network.

The comedy series have been on airing for five and two seasons, respectively.

American Housewife stars Daniel DiMaggio, Giselle Eisenberg, Diedrich Bader, Katy Mixon, and Meg Donnelly, and followed Katie Otto, a confident, unapologetic wife and mother of three, as she raises her flawed family in the wealthy town of Westport, Connecticut, filled with “perfect” mommies and their “perfect” offspring.

Mixed-ish stars Gary Cole, Ethan William Childress, Tika Sumpter, Arica Himmel, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, and Christina Anthony.

The series was a prequel show for Black-ish, telling the story of a young Rainbow Johnson and her family as they recount the experience of being a mixed-race family in the ’80s and the dilemmas they face as they navigate a world where the kids are perceived as neither black nor white.

Also canceled are new show Rebel and For Life.

If you missed it, it was announced that this other ABC series is ending…
