Good news for Anna Kendrick fans!

The 27-year-old actress has joined the cast of Zach Braff‘s Wish I Was Here alongside Josh Gad and Mandy Patinkin!

The upcoming dramedy has been surrounded by major buzz since Zach, who co-wrote the script, created a Kickstarter to get it funded.

According to The Wrap, Anna will play Janine: “a young woman into Cosplay who Braff‘s brother, played by Josh, becomes smitten with.”

Anna is currently filming The Voices with Ryan Reynolds and Gemma Arterton in Berlin, Germany.

The 27-year-old actress has joined The Voices with Ryan Reynolds and Gemma Arterton, Deadline reports.

The psychological thriller follows Jerry (Reynolds), a lovable but strange bathtub factory worker who yearns for the attention of a woman in accounting. When their relationship takes a sudden murderous turn, Jerry’s evil “talking” cat and benevolent “talking” dog lead him down a fantastical path that ultimately brings him to salvation.

We’re not for certain yet if Anna, who recently went blonde for The Last 5 Years, will be blonde in this film as well.

Get excited Pitch Perfect fans — a sequel has been confirmed by Universal Pictures for a release in 2015!

The breakout comedy hit of last year is still gaining steam after a great performance at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards over the weekend and a new music video for “Cups” featuring star Anna Kendrick.

Adam Fogelson, the head of Universal Pictures, revealed the news during the studio’s CinemaCon presentation on Tuesday (April 15) and confirmed that original screenwriter Kay Cannon is back for the project.

“The ‘Cups’ song that I did in Pitch Perfect became surprisingly popular for a 1-minute a-capella song,” the 27-year-old actress shared in a behind-the-scenes look at the video.

Anna added, “This idea of an entire diner full of people doing the cup thing really satisfied the Busby Berkeley lover in me. I was really excited to come and do this music video.”

The 27-year-old actress chatted with Entertainment Tonight about re-creating the song for a single release and whether or not she would ever record a solo album.

“My next movie is a musical which is crazy because I didn’t mean for that to happen,” Anna explained about her upcoming flick The Last 5 Years. “As far as making an album, album? I would just feel so silly, so it’s not something I’m thinking about.”

Anna Kendrick and Dianna Agron step out for Vogue‘s “Triple Threats” dinner held at Goldie’s on Wednesday night (April 3) in Los Angeles.

Hosted by Sally Singer and Lisa Love, the two actresses were joined at the bash by Darren Criss, Brittany Snow, Chord Overstreet, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald.

“Thank you @voguemagazine for a lovely night & for donning me with such a generous title. For all of you wondering…the videos come out soon,” Dianna wrote on her Tumblr page.

The party celebrated the upcoming Vogue video series which stars both Dianna and Anna, as well as Alison Brie.

FYI: Brittany wore a Duro Olowu dress with Aquazurra shoes and a DVF bag. Nikki wore Prabal Gurung dress, Manolo Blahnik shoes, Prada necklace and bag from Ralph Lauren.

It’s a Pitch Perfect cast reunion!

Just in time for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, the cast of Pitch Perfect will be hitting the stage for a performance that will open the show on April 14th.

Rebel Wilson, Skylar Astin, Anna Camp, Esther Dean, Adam Devine, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Ben Platt and Brittany Snow will whip out an all-new musical mash-up performance conceived and executed by the film’s director, Jason Moore.

“Can’t wait to perform with these aca-sexies at MTV Movie Awards @SkylarAstin @ADAMDEVINE @BenSPLATT @TheRealAnnaCamp @Brittanysnow,” Rebel, who is also hosting, tweeted.

Skylar added, “Aca-believe it! So glad I don’t have to keep my big mouth shut about performing with the PITCH PERFECT cast at the MTV movie awards!!”

At this time, Anna Kendrick is unable to make the show due to scheduling conflicts. JJJ is crossing our fingers she can make it!
