Anna‘s Pitch Perfect co-star Brittany Snow, was also in attendance for the event.

Anna Kendrick steps out at the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards Nominations Conference held at the W Hollywood Hotel on Tuesday morning (November 27).
The 27-year-old actress was joined at the conference by Common and Zoe Saldana. The award show will take place on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013, in Santa Monica.
Moonrise Kingdom, Beasts of the Southern Wild, and The Silver Linings Playbook were the top films with Jennifer Lawrence receiving an individual nomination as well. The Perks of Being A Wallflower is also nominated for Best First Feature!

It was just announced earlier this week that Anna‘s flick, Pitch Perfect, will be out on DVD and Bluray on December 18th!
Packed with deleted and extended scenes, line-o-ramas, music videos and more, the movie follows Beca (Kendrick), who leads an acoustic singing group out of their traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies into all-new mashups. They fight to climb their way to the top of college music competitions. This could wind up either the coolest thing they’ll ever do or the most insane, and it will probably be a little of both.

The Artios Awards honor and recognize casting directors for their achievements in Theatre, Television, and Film casting.
The CSA also gave out the following special awards to Casting Director Lora Kennedy for the Hoyt Bowers Award given for excellence in casting; Harvey Fierstein received The New York Apple Award given to individual for contributions to the New York casting community and Ben Affleck, who received the Career Achievement Award.

Anna Kendrick keeps it cute, casual and chic as she arrives at the the launch of Rachel Zoe’s Major Must Haves from Jockey held at Sunset Tower on Wednesday night (October 17) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The 27-year-old actress is still celebrating the success of Pitch Perfect, which opened just a few weeks ago.
“I’m not going to say that ‘Party in the USA’ was my most enjoyable number, but I thought that was such a genius moment for the character. Because my favorite thing about this character is that she comes into it thinking that she’s too cool for school and fancies herself kind of a badass. Which she’s really not,” she shared with Collider about Beca.
Anna added, “And I liked, at every possible opportunity that I had, showing the cracks in the surface and showing that she’s kind of secretly, you know pretty ordinary, and that she has this shameful love for pop music. So, I loved that somebody who would rather pretend that she’s the girl with the dragon tattoo you know secretly knows all the lyrics to ‘Party in the USA.’”

Screenplay reads happen all the time, and the actors that participate aren’t necessarily the actors that are gunning for the roles. But, we’d love to see Anna as Cinderella.

Anna Kendrick hits the red carpet at the Mr. Pink Ginseng Drink Launch Party on Thursday (October 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 27-year-old actress recently talked about filming the riff-off scene in her new hit musical comedy Pitch Perfect.
“Yeah, it definitely was challenging,” Anna told Buzzine. “The scene in the riff-off when there’s, like, four different groups and we’re all jumping in—as you say, there were so many moving parts and it was so hard to keep track of what we were doing, where we were in the scene, and to try and have this kind of flirty, semi-romantic through-line with Jesse through that scene.”
