AnnaLynne McCord stops by the IMDb Studio during the 2016 Sundance Film Festival on Friday afternoon (January 22) in Park City, Utah.
The 28-year-old actress chatted up her new movie, Trash Fire, before opening up about working with on-again love Dominic Purcell.
“He’s very expensive so I asked him if I could do a couple favors and apparently I was really good at them,” she shared. “There’s a picture of me actually trying to direct him and this is me because I admire him so much as an actor obviously…’So if you could like maybe do this like just you now just try it and see if you like it and if you don’t like it you don’t have to do anything you just don’t actually have to do anything that you don’t want to do because you’re amazing’”
AnnaLynne also stopped by the NYLON + Dream Hotels Apres Ski event, The Samsung Studio, Kari Feinstein’s Style Lounge and the Creative Coalition Spotlight Initiative Awards Gala Dinner the next night.

The 28-year-old actress is back together with her ex-boyfriend Dominic Purcell, according to E! News.
Though AnnaLynne has only seen the trailers for Dominic’s new series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, she said his character already reflects his real life sense of humor.
“It just sounds like Dom in real life. He’s so funny. He doesn’t know that he’s funny,” AnnaLynne said. “Everyone laughs and he looks over and he’s like, ‘Why are they all laughing at me, I’m not funny!’ And then we laugh more because that’s funny too.”

“I actually was considering quitting acting when I got that job (on 90210). I thought about just going back to New York, being a barista, going to college and finding out what I could do in this world to really make a difference,” AnnaLynne explained in the issue.
She added, “The producers from 90210 kept calling to offer me the job and it wasn’t until a friend of mine called me, that I realized that if I took the job it would allow me the platform and opportunity to really do something important outside of acting.”

On her outlook on love: I’m painfully shy with men I like. I’m all in with a casual relationship but petrified of intimacy and getting too close to someone. As a 28 year-old woman, I want a partner. I want to be with someone where I can be totally free.
