AnnaSophia Robb Joins 'Words on Bathroom Walls' Movie

AnnaSophia Robb has booked her next role in Words on Bathroom Walls, Deadline reports.

The 24-year-old actress will star alongside Charlie Plummer and Taylor Russell in the flick, which is based on Julia Walton’s debut novel.

The movie will center on Adam (Plummer), a high schooler living with paranoid schizophrenia and battling wild hallucinations. Luckily, an experimental drug trial promises to help hide his illness from his peers and most importantly from Maya, the girl of his dreams.

AnnaSophia will take on the role of Rebecca, one of the main characters in Adam’s hallucinations who acts as a conduit for the feelings that he cannot express.

FYI: AnnaSophia is pictured at Swarovski’s Times Square Celebration in New York City last week.

AnnaSophia Robb Wouldn't Say No To Guest Starring on New NBC Show 'Rise' One Day

AnnaSophia Robb has done a lot of TV — from The Carrie Diaries to Mercy Street — so it wouldn’t be out of the question to see her back on the small screen sometime soon.

One show that the 24-year-old actress is really excited about seems to be Rise.

If you don’t know, AnnaSophia‘s former Mercy Street co-star Josh Radnor stars in it.

“Josh is in it, Taylor Richardson, I did a film with her a couple years ago, she’s fantastic, she’s in it,” she shared in a recent interview with IBT.

She adds, “One of my friends from school, Rachel Hilson, she’s in it. It’s so fun living in New York because all of a sudden, I don’t know, it just feels like a much smaller town than LA.”

AnnaSophia would even be open to guest starring, if there’s the opportunity.

“Oh God, I’d love to,” she shared. “That would be fun.”

Television reboots and big screen to small screen adaptations are all the rage these days — we’ve got Charmed, Roseanne, and even Shadowhunters was an adaption from a movie, and book!

AnnaSophia Robb recently spoke to IBT and revealed she would love for one of her own movies to get the TV treatment — Charlie & The Chocolate Factory!

In the modern movie, also starring Freddie Highmore and Johnny Depp, AnnaSophia played Violet Beauregarde, who ends up turning into a massive blueberry while touring the factory.

“I know it probably will never happen, but wouldn’t that be exciting?” she shared. “We’d have different candies, different rooms, I think that would be great.”

Freak Show centers on Billy Bloom (Alex Lawther), who is a one-of-a-kind, fabulous, glitter-bedecked, gender-bending teenager whose razor-sharp wit is matched only his by his outrageous, anything-goes fashion sense.

But when he’s forced to go live with his straight-laced father, he finds himself a diva-out-of-water at his new ultra-conservative high school. Bullies are there, but Billy is fearless and sets out to make a big statement in his own inimitable way: by challenging the school’s reigning mean girl for the title of homecoming queen.

FYI: AnnaSophia wore a Vivetta dress and Bienen-Davis bag to the premiere. Earlier in the day, she wore a Dorothee Schumacher turtleneck and a Staud jacket.
