While Billie Lourd remembers the late Carrie Fisher every day, she honored her mom in a super cool way at today’s “40 Years of Star Wars” panel during the 2017 Star Wars Celebration at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
The Scream Queens star rocked a custom Tom Ford gown that totally screamed Princess Leia, her mother’s famous Star Wars role.

At the event, Billie introduced a tribute video to Carrie (watch the full video here), marking her first public appearance since her mother passed away in December.
“Feeling the ultimate strength of the force from all of the incredible fans at #starwarscelebration after our tribute to my #momby,” Billie shared on Instagram.
Billie portrayed Lieutenant Connix alongside her mom in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and she will reprise the role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Billie Lourd stepped out to speak about her late mom Carrie Fisher for the first time since her December 2016 death.
The 24-year-old actress hit the stage at a Star Wars celebration on Thursday (April 12) in Orlando, Florida.
“My mom used to say she never knew where Princess Leia ended and Carrie Fisher began,” Billie told the crowd (via People) while introducing a tribute video. “She was imperfect in many ways but her imperfections and willingness to speak about them are what made her more than perfect. My mom, like Leia, wasn’t ever afraid to speak her mind and say things that might have made most people uncomfortable.”
She added, “She taught me by her own example, that the most evolved person is seemingly a contradiction – they are both the strongest and the most vulnerable person in the room. And that was her. That is Leia.”
Billie donned a white custom-made Tom Ford dress inspired by Princess Leia.

We can’t get over how cute Billie Lourd and Taylor Lautner are on their vacation!
The couple have been enjoying some downtime with Billie‘s dad Bryan and his husband Bruce Bozzi on a trip to St. Barts.
Billie and Taylor were spotted hanging out poolside on Friday (April 7) before heading out on a boat ride.
A few days earlier, Taylor took to his Instagram to share a fun snap posing with Billie.
“This tree is 360 years old. It could be my great great great great grandma. Instead it’s just a very old tree,” he jokingly captioned the photo.

Billie Lourd has just joined the upcoming season of American Horror Story.
This the young actress’ first role after Scream Queens and since her mom Carrie Fisher and grandmother Debbie Reynolds‘ passing late last year.
The plot of the new season is being kept quiet, as is Billie‘s character. However, Deadline reports that the premise of the next installment “is set in the aftermath of the recent presidential election, with the first episode taking place on Election Night.”
Regulars Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, and newcomer Billy Eichner will also star.
Billie Lourd and boyfriend Taylor Lautner are on another adorable vacation!
The super cute couple were joined by Billie‘s dad Bryan and his husband Bruce Bozzi for a tropical vacation on Tuesday (April 3).
Bruce took to his Instagram to share a fun photo of the group, where they’re all wearing face masks!
“The family that masks together lasts together! Hello 4/3/17 #fresh #relax @praisethelourd,” Bryan captioned the photo.
Although Billie and Taylor haven’t shared any photos together from the trip, Billie did take to her Instagram to share a photo of a beautiful sunset.

Over the weekend, a public memorial was held in Los Angeles for Billie‘s mother Carrie Fisher and grandmother Debbie Reynolds – who passed away a day a part from each other back in December.
Billie ultimately decided not to attend the memorial after it was reported that she was considering performing a song in tribute to her mother and grandmother.

Taylor Lautner is still winning us over with his gentlemanly ways.
The Scream Queens actor was spotted out with girlfriend Billie Lourd at the West Hollywood Fred Segal location, doing a bit of shopping with her ahead of her mom Carrie Fisher and grandmother Debbie Reynolds‘ public memorial this weekend.
At one time, it was in the cards that Billie was going to perform at the event.
“She said at one point she was gonna sing ‘Tammy,’ my mother’s hit, and I was like, ‘I don’t know how you could do that. I couldn’t do it,’” Billie‘s uncle, Todd Fisher shared with ET.
He adds, “We started having reality checks on these things. She realized, ‘I’d be lucky to sit through this. I can assure you that there isn’t going to be a dry eye in the house at different times.”
