David Henrie will headline United Way Rocks for Education, a fun-filled evening with entertainment, music, and comedy to raise awareness and support for quality early education.

The Wizards of Waverly Place stud will be accompanied by some celebrity friends including Drake & Josh‘s Drake Bell and his band.

The event will take place Saturday, May 7, 2011, 6-8pm, at University of Miami’s Bank United Center, 1245 Dauer Drive in Coral Gables.

Earlier in the day, David will make a special appearance at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida’s Florida Blue center located at 8895 SW 136th St., across from The Falls. In addition to meeting him, fans can take part in a free health fair from 11:30am – 3pm, and enter to win VIP backstage passes to United Way Rocks for Education.

Drake Bell jazzes up the 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards with a bright pink tie at the USC Galen Center over the weekend in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old actor and KCA veteran chatted with JJJ on the orange carpet about his upcoming Nickelodeon movie, The Fairly Odd Parents, opposite Daniella Monet.

Drake shared, “Filming was amazing. We got to go up to Vancouver and have some fun. I’ve known Savage Holland, the director, for years and grew up working with him. Just to take a fun show and franchise and turn it into live action is great. I love my character, Timmy, and to just make this with Daniella was great. It was like a big family reunion.”

British music has been a huge influence for Drake Bell — from The Beatles to Rolling Stones.

The 24-year-old multi-talented artist tells PopSugar, “British music has been a constant in my life ever since I started playing and listening to music. I have never been to London before and it’s going to be a great time. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. In Europe, I’ve always wanted to visit the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, and I’d love to see the Leaning Tower.”

Drake also dished about how different recording has become for him: “I used to make records in a room with my best friend and now I make records all over the place in different situations with people I barely know. It’s taken a lot of time and it’s a different dynamic working with other professionals and producers.”

And not just music, but fashion is a big thing in Drake‘s life too. “I love Prada, D&G, Gucci, Simon Spurr, Tom Ford, Conference Of Birds, English Laundry, and Opening Ceremony. I’m inspired by a modern twist on a classic style — well tailored suits with striped pants (trousers) and a flashy coat,” he shared.

Drake Bell keeps close to his girlfriend as he arrives at Audi and J. Mendel’s Kick Off Celebration of Golden Globe Week 2011 held at Cecconi’s Restaurant in Los Angeles on Sunday night (January 9).

After the 24-year-old actor/musician returns from London later in the month, he’ll be heading over to The Hotel Cafe for a show in Los Angeles. Drake will be playing some new material off his new album. Note that the show is 21 and over.

Also, Drake‘s upcoming Nick film, A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!, is rumored to be premiering in February.

Drake and Jerry will be hosting and showing their favorite episodes of iCarly and Drake & Josh, appearing between each episode giving exclusive insider info about the episodes, and battling it out to decide who is Miranda Cosgrove’s best big (on-screen) brother.
