“A few years ago, I knew I would have to actually reveal Stiles’s name at some point,” showrunner Jeff Davisrevealed about the name. “I was looking for a Polish name that was incredibly difficult to both spell and pronounce.”
He adds, “Mieczyslaw sounded like ‘mischief.’ It seemed like a perfect word to describe Stiles. Both as a mischievous child and equally misbehaved adult.”
Fans are confused because costume supervisor Daniel Flores posted a photo with Dylan, implying it was his last-ever day on set.
“Work finish on this guy right here. Thanks for all the memories and a wonderful 6 season run,” Daniel allegedly wrote in the since-deleted Instagram post, which you can see below.
Meanwhile, another costume designer named Adam M. West reportedly shared a similar photo with Dylan, but his account is private.
“FYI – actors’ availability is one of the main schedule concerns in filming. Someone’s “last day of shooting” doesn’t tell you anything,” Adamtweeted. “If you’re a Teen Wolf fan, just chill. Some people are very busy and we shoot with them when we can. You didn’t get a spoiler…Also, Teen Wolf fans, please stop requesting my insta. There are no secret photos of the actors, and I don’t let strangers follow me there.”
“They ride the lightning,” Peter says of the Ghost Riders. “They are an unstoppable force of nature, but I promise you, they don’t make pit stops in train stations. If this is the Wild Hunt, there is no escape. You and I are doomed to ride the storm forever.”
Teen Wolf airs TONIGHT, December 13 @ 9/8c on MTV. Watch the clip below!
The 25-year-old actor was spotted filming for one of first times since the accident while on the set of American Assassins on Wednesday afternoon (November 23) in Rome, Italy.
Dylan, who had some fake cuts on his face, was joined by his co-star Shiva Negar as they filmed inside of a car.
The film follows the rise of a CIA black ops recruit under the instruction of Cold War veteran Stan Hurley. The pair get enlisted by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy to investigate a wave of apparently random attacks. Together they discover a pattern in the violence leading them to a joint mission with a lethal Turkish agent to stop a mysterious operative intent on starting a World War in the Middle East.

It only took six seasons, but it looks like we’re finally going to get the Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) relationship play out (in some way) on Teen Wolf.
Well, that’s if we get Stiles back from those Ghost Riders sometime soon…
So why did the show decide to explore the Stydia dynamic now?
“It was partly that we knew that these would be the last 20 episodes,” Showrunner Jeff Davis told ScreenerTV.com. “It’s the final season, and a lot of it is thinking, ‘Okay, what are the things we haven’t done? What are the relationships that haven’t really gone there yet? Should we go there? Should we go for it?”
Teen Wolf airs Tuesdays @ 9/8c on MTV.
TELL JJJ: Do you want to see Stydia end up together?
Who tuned into the season premiere of Teen Wolf last night?
Was anyone prepared to lose Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) that soon?! We definitely were not!
If you haven’t seen the episode, we won’t spoil you. All you need to know is that Stiles was erased after a run-in with the Masked Ghost Riders of the Wild Hunt. (Side note – that’d make an awesome band name or TV show)
However, we do want to show you what’s ahead on Season 6A. Check out the video below and prepare yourself!
Dylan O’Brien will definitely appear in the final season of Teen Wolf, but to what extent? That remains to be seen.
Because he had so many movies in the works (Deepwater Horizon, American Assassin, Maze Runner: The Death Cure), and suffered a really bad injury on set earlier this year, his screen time may be less than usual.
“We approached this season with the knowledge that we’d have limited access to Dylan O’Brien because of his burgeoning movie career, and thinking, ‘If this is the last 20 episodes of Teen Wolf, how do we give everyone a really big send-off?’” executive producer Jeff Davis told TVLine.com. “We came up with this story that creates this big mystery about Stiles and the memory of Stiles.”
Teen Wolf premieres TOMORROW, November 15 @ 9/8c on MTV.
Tyler recently opened up about saying goodbye to the show.
“It’s become such a second home to me,” Tyler told EW. “I would stay for hours after work. I spend more time with these people, 17 hours a day, six months out of the year, for seven years…I’m really gonna miss having that second home.”
In case you missed it, watch the awesome teaser we posted last week featuring Stiles!
Teen Wolf‘s season six premieres on Tuesday, November 15 @ 9PM ET/PT on MTV.
