China Anne opens up in the glossy about her new show, Black Lightning.
“I am so excited because playing a superhero has been a dream of mine for forever,” she says. “I love playing powerful female characters, let alone African American female characters.”
Storm adds about her upcoming feature film, A Wrinkle in Time: “Working with Ava DuVernay [who directed A Wrinkle in Time] was incredible. It was the first time I’d seen so many people of color and women on a set before. I feel very proud to be a part of it all.”
