Hayley Kiyoko Says New Song 'L.O.V.E. Me' is the Song She's Been 'Trying To Write For Years' - Listen Here!

Hayley Kiyoko is back with another amazing new song that will hit you so hard, called “L.O.V.E. Me”.

The 28-year-old musician, dubbed “Lesbian Jesus” by fans, opened up about the song ahead of its’ release.

“’L.O.V.E. Me’ is a song I’ve been trying to write for years!! I’m very protective of my personal life but admittedly I’m a big romantic at heart. ‘L.O.V.E. Me’ captures what it feels like to fall head over heels and want to shout from the rooftops about it,” she says.

Hayley adds, “It’s showcasing the classic struggle we sometimes face when someone tells you they love you in private, but is too scared to express that love publicly. I hope this song brings some relatability to anyone who is craving that declaration of love.”

Hayley Kiyoko's New Song 'Demons' Tackles Mental Health - Listen Now!

Hayley Kiyoko‘s new track “Demons” is out now!

The singer shared the single with fans on Friday (October 11).

The hypnotic and mysterious song shows a darker side of Hayley.

“Demons” is part of her bold, brave, and unapologetic project I’m Too Sensitive For This S–t, which will also feature “I Wish” and more songs that will be released over the next few months.

“Demons is really personal to me,” Hayley shared on Instagram. “I had the chorus lyrics written in my notes ‘please forgive me I’ve got demons in my head, trying to feed me lies until I’m dead’. There was something so haunting about it I wanted to try to turn it into something positive. I wanted to sing about mental health and battling the inner ‘demons’ many of us struggle with. But with a heavy upbeat track that everyone can sing and support you with. It’s so important for people struggling to realize that they’re not alone and I hope this song can play a part in sparking that realization.”

Hayley Kiyoko also just announced her I’m Too Sensitive For This S–t North American headlining tour, which will kick off in 2020.

Hayley Kiyoko Spreads The Most Positive Message About Embracing Who She Is

Hayley Kiyoko steps out for the City of Hope: 15th Annual Songs of Hope event, a unique evening honoring songwriters and composers, on Thursday (September 19) in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

The “I Wish” musician was honored with the Facebook Songwriter Impact Award at the event, for her continued work in promoting acceptance and equality through her music.

Hayley is also appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show today and reflected about her fears of not being accepted in school because of her sexuality.

“My biggest weakness growing up was that I was gay and I was different from everyone else,” she shared. “I really feared growing up because I was like, life is going to be so difficult and people are just not going to understand, and going into my music career, I was just like, if I’m scared, everyone else will be. So, I have to embrace who I am, I have to be the brave one because if I take that first step, everyone else will follow.”

Hayley adds, “They will hopefully grow to feel inspired and know that they can have a good life. They don’t have to commit suicide, the don’t have to not love themselves, they can be loved. And it’s about all these incredible, powerful women, and just people in general, taking that first step and initiative to showcase that.”
