India de Beaufort waves to the crowd at the end of her first runway show at Emerge! during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week earlier this week in New York City.

The 24-year-old former Jane By Design starlet wrote on Twitter after showcasing her debut line, “Crazy day. Half of my models didn’t show, bt we had AMAZING new grls. whole day was manic, but we pulled it off!The collection ROCKED. Happy.”

India added, “I would like2 thank Roman Luxe for lending me jewelry for my runway show. I have been wearing their pinky ring 2almost every show this week!”

India de Beaufort puts in extensions in her hair for the Milly By Michelle Smith Spring 2013 fashion show during 2012 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week held at The Stage Lincoln Center on Wednesday (September 12) in New York City.

After sitting next to Olympian Ryan Lochte, the 24-year-old actress/designer headed out to the Whitney Eve Spring 2013 fashion show at The Studio Lincoln Center before the Nanette Lepore Spring 2013 fashion show.

“I got to meet Abigail Breslin today. I really respect her and she was lovely,” India tweeted.

India is gearing up to show her own collection, Ballyhoo by India de Beaufort, at NYFW’s Emerge TOMORROW!

It’s a sad day for all Jane By Design fans.

The ABC Family dramedy will not be coming back for a second season on ABC Family, THR reports.

Star Erica Dasher tweeted to her fans, “Thank you so much for everything!!! It was incredible and you all are the best part of that experience. Love love love.”

“Its true no more JBD but we had a blast making it, and we love your for supporting it. #goodnightjanequimby,” star India de Beaufort added.

Jane By Design followed high schooler Jane Quimby (Dasher), who moonlighted as an executive assistant to a hotshot executive (Andie MacDowell) at a top New York City fashion house.

If you follow the 24-year-old Jane By Design actress on Twitter, you know that she’s been tweeting tons of pics from her new fashion line and revealed a pretty big thing to the mag — she’s showing it at New York Fashion Week!

“My formal education is in fashion and even though it didn’t end up being my main profession, it’s still a great love of mine. A few weeks ago I was asked if I would like to show a collection at EMERGE! during New York Fashion Week and I jumped at the chance. I’m always up for a challenge. I’ve been sewing ever since and I’m a little over half-way done,” India revealed about her line, Ballyhoo.

She added, “It’s a lot to ask, to make an entire collection in just over a month but my good friend Tatiana Klioukina, from the Art House of Tailoring in Studio City, has been helping me do it right. The show will be in Soho on September 11th, so keep your fingers crossed for me! I’m putting myself out there to get heavily scrutinized. People know me as an actor not a designer but in my mind creativity is creativity in any form and they do say; never dare to hang yourself. I have faith in the pieces I’ve designed and I’m excited to put them out there.”

The 24-year-old Jane By Design actress wore a vintage red dress with strappy Jimmy Choo heels for the event.
