Jackie Evancho heads out of the ABC Studios after her appearance on Live! With Kelly and Michael in New York City on Tuesday (April 26).
The 16-year-old singer performed her new original single, “Apocalypse” on the show, after performing it on Today the day before.
“I’m not going to get rid of my classical voice, because that’s my roots, that’s what I love the most,” Jackie recently shared about expanding beyond classical. “But I do want to test out the contemporary side of my voice, because I’ve just discovered that I had it and it’s really fun to experiment with.”
She added, “To me, there’s really no limits to what I can do right now, because I really just want to see what’s best for me. So I can’t just put myself in one spot.”

“I’ve always been a Bond fan – who isn’t – but when I heard Sam Smith sing this song, I saw it as an opportunity to play Bond characters,” the 15-year-old songstress shared. “What made this video even more fun to make was having my sister Juliet play the villain!”
This is Jackie‘s third single off of her upcoming album, following “All of the Stars” and “Safe and Sound”.
Jackie‘s rendition of “Writing’s On The Wall” will hit iTunes on Friday, January 29th.
