Jake T. Austin suits up to honor Tom Cruise at the Friars Club and Friars Foundation held at The Waldorf-Astoria on Tuesday night (June 12) in New York City.
The award, which is the group’s highest honor, has only been given out three times. Previous recipients are Douglas Fairbanks, Cary Grant and Frank Sinatra.

The Icon Award is an opportunity to “pay tribute to someone whose accomplishments transcend the entertainment industry by positively redefining the very culture we live in,” the organization said (via THR).

The 17-year-old actor plays Sam in the season premiere.
Sam is a 16-year-old video game genius who finds out that the man who has loved and raised him as his father his whole life illegally took custody away from his drug addicted parents when he was a baby and raised him as his own. Jane (Brooke Elliott) and Grayson (Jackson Hurst) help Sam and his father through the legal ramifications of this crime that was meant to protect Sam.
Drop Dead Diva is about a shallow wannabe model who dies in a sudden accident only to find her soul resurfacing in the body of a brilliant, plus-size and recently deceased attorney.
The season premiere is TONIGHT @ 9PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
Jake T. Austin hits up the Beats by Dr. Dre Soho Store in New York City for the (RED) RUSH TO ZERO Campaign on Saturday afternoon (June 2).
The 17-year-old actor joined Bono, Chaske Spencer and DJ Taryn Manning at the event which launched the new campaign running until June 10th.

The new fundraising initiative will activate audiences in new ways such as gaming online or by auctioning tickets to your favorite artists’ sold out shows, with proceeds going to the fight for an AIDS Free Generation by 2015.

Jake T. Austin suits up in a Topman suit for the 2012 Ronald McDonald House Gala at the Waldorf-Astoria on Monday (May 21) in New York City.
Last week, it was announced that the 17-year-old-actor would be the first ever youth ambassador for the Ronald McDonald House.
“It’s an honor and a pleasure to have a bright and talented young man like Jake T. Austin representing the House,” said William T. Sullivan, president and CEO of Ronald McDonald House New York. “His dedication to our organization is already a hopeful beacon for so many of our family members who look up to him and appreciate him for his charitable endeavors, as well as his work in Hollywood. We welcome him to our family.”

The 17-year-old actor was just announced as the newest youth ambassador for Ronald McDonald House, and provide a new voice for children facing the greatest challenge of their lives as they battle pediatric cancer.
“We take our health for granted, when these kids are fighting for their lives every day,” Jake shared in a statement. “RMH-NY gives them and their families a place to feel comfortable and protected while going through these treatments for severe illnesses. I wish I could give these kids back one-third of the joy they have given me.”
Jake will be introduced during the organization’s 20th Anniversary Gala event in New York City later this month.

Jennifer Stone parties it up with Kay Panabaker inside NYLON Magazine’s 13th Anniversary Celebration held at Smashbox Studios on Tuesday night (April 10) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The event highlighted NYLON’s history as a pop culture innovator and featured an installation of 13 covers from the past, selected personally by Marvin Scott Jarrett. Samantha Ronson and Benji Madden provided the music for the event, which also included a photo booth where guests were photographed in front of NYLON cover art and became cover stars themselves.
FYI: Jennifer wore an AllSaints dress with Miu Miu heels. She accessorized with Tarina Tarantino earrings and a House of Harlow ring.
