Lily Collins and her boyfriend Jamie Campbell Bower have a date night at a gallery viewing party on Thursday (November 1) on Yorkville Street in Toronto, Canada.

The 23-year-old actress and 23-year-old actor are currently up north filming their highly anticipated flick The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Author Cassandra Clare, who wrote the film’s source material, recently revealed that production will soon move to New York City for second unit shooting without the cast, according to Examiner.

The 23-year-old actress and Jamie, also 23, also picked up breakfast and stopped for coffee at a local Starbucks before heading back home to enjoy the weekend. The twosome are currently in town for filming on The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower hit the streets of Toronto, Canada for a late night snack on Friday night (October 12).

The adorable couple stopped off for a cool frozen treat after a long day of filming from Yoco Frozen Yogurt.

The two are currently filming The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones with Robert Sheehan and Keven Zegers.

Jamie Campbell Bower holds Lily Collins back in this first look at The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones from MTV.

“It’s really a story that’s based in reality as much as it is in this fantasy world. They’re coexisting,” Lily, 23, shared in the video of the film. “It’s more emotionally and character-based than just aesthetically beautiful. It’s got amazing imagery and the CGI is going to be incredible, but it’s not just about that.”

Co-star Robert Sheehan, who plays Simon, dished about his experience with the fans in Toronto, where they’re filming.

“There were fans there waiting for us,” he shared. “I was like, this isn’t my book! So that was quite odd…but I did it anyway.”

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones hits theaters in August 2013.

The two are currently filming The Mortal Instruments: The City of Bones.

“I am very happy with the cast. They are all talented actors. They’re smart, they’re professional, they get along: when I was up at the set the whole crew from the drivers to the lighting guys kept saying that they were extraordinary, exceptionally nice and talented (and gorgeous),” author Cassandra Clare recently wrote on her tumblr.

She adds, “They are even very like their characters in a lot of ways: Lily is sweet, and Jamie is playfully sarcastic, and Kevin [Zegers] is grounded and Jemima [West] is determined and straightforward and Robbie is hilarious. Whatever may ever develop with the film, I’ll always feel lucky I had these amazing actors on board. Were they what I imagined? How could I have imagined anyone specific? I never did. I have pictures of the characters in my head, and those will always remain the same. The actors are a specific interpretation of those characters. As such, I am yes, very happy with them.”

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones stars took some time off from filming to relax and grab a bite to eat.

“We’ve been shooting in all different locations here [in Toronto]. We just finished week three and I think we’ve hit every part of the movie already in three weeks, we’ve gone from early Clary to shadowhunter Clary and back again and we’re doing all the action, all the stunts,” Lily recently told MTV about filming. “I’m a little sick because we’ve been shooting nights. But the fans have come out every night, it’s so nice to have the support. I’m finally a redhead, finally working on the project, it’s been amazing.”

In the clip, the 23-year-old actress had nothing but good things to say about Jamie.

“When he walked into the room for the audition he nailed it,” Lily recalled. “He didn’t have to try. He’s that perfect mixture between being this, like, mysterious Jace and also very endearing and funny, and he brings this wit and charm that only Jamie can bring.”

Lily also spoke about Jamie‘s stunts in the movie, saying, “He’s kicking ass doing flips, and it’s really impressive and the same with all the other cast members.”
