The country starlet and Grammy-nominated pianist teamed up for “My Favorite Things” and JJJ just put it on our personal list of favorite things.
“Putting out ‘Favorite Things’ with Joey has been one of my proudest and most exciting projects and moments so far,” Kelsea shares. “He is so incredibly talented and, more so, so humble.”
Joey adds, “I got a good dose of that warm southern hospitality from the folks from Black River Records and the Nashville country music community, and performing with Kelsea Ballerini was amazing.”

Indonesian piano prodigy Joey Alexander took the stage for an epic performance during the 2016 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Monday (February 15) in Los Angeles.
The 12-year-old middle school student performed an original composition on the piano.
Not only did Joey get a standing ovation for his performance, but also performed earlier in the day at the during the Grammy Premiere Ceremony.
He was also nominated for two Grammys in the categories of Best Instrumental Jazz Album and Best Improvised Jazz Solo, making him one of the youngest performers to ever be nominated for a Grammy.
