In the upcoming movie, Eva Mendes stars as Grace, a single mom too busy to give her daughter Ansiedad (Ramirez) the attention she needs. When Ansiedad’s English teacher introduces her students to classic coming-of-age stories, Ansiedad is inspired to skip adolescence and jump-start her life without mom.

While Grace becomes preoccupied with the increasing affections of her co-worker (Eugenio Derbez), Ansiedad enlists the help of her loyal friend, Tavita (Raini Rodriguez), to plot her shortcut to “adulthood”. But as her misguided plan unravels, Ansiedad and Grace must learn that sometimes growing-up means acting your age.

Girl In Progress hits theaters on May 11th.

Landon Liboiron may be fighting dinosaurs on his new show Terra Nova, but who knew he was such a romantic?

The Canadian actor is featured in the October 2011 “Hot Guys” issue of Seventeen magazine and shared his thoughts on love.

Landon told the mag, “Love is like a bee. It can hurt, but it can also make the sweetest thing in the world.”

In Terra Nova, Landon plays Josh Shannon, who, along with little sis Maddy (Naomi Scott), travel back in time with their family as a small part of a daring experiment to save the human race.

The “Hot Guys” issue hits stands on September 13th. Terra Nova premieres Monday, September 26th @ 8PM ET/PT on FOX.
