The series finale date has been set for freshman series Tom Swift.

The Nancy Drew spinoff series is still in the midst of it’s first season, but the network has given it the axe due to low viewership, according to Deadline.

Tom Swift makes it’s network debut on The CW!
Now that the show is finally out, a year and a half after it was first announced, we’re introducing viewers to the cast.
The new show is based on the book series from Stratemeyer Syndicate, and focuses on an exceptionally brilliant inventor with unlimited resources and unimaginable wealth, the devilishly charming Tom Swift, who is a man who many men would kill to be, or be with – a man with the world in the palm of his hand.
Tom Swift airs weekly on Tuesday nights at 9pm ET/PT on The CW.

The upcoming Nancy Drew spinoff series is set to debut on The CW later this month, with stars Tian Richards in the title role, Ashleigh Murray, Marquise Vilson, April Parker Jones, Albert Mwangi, and LeVar Burton.

LeVar Burton has been added to the cast of Tom Swift!
The legendary actor joins Tian Richards in the potential spinoff of Nancy Drew at The CW, Deadline reveals.
LeVar won’t quite be appearing on the screen though, as he will voice Tom Swift’s steadfast AI companion and tough-love mentor Barclay.
