Lucas Till has been a cowboy (in Hannah Montana The Movie) and will be a soldier in the upcoming Battle: Los Angeles, but is he ready to become a mutant?
EW is reporting that the 19-year-old actor is in talks to play the role of Havok in X-Men: First Class.
Victoria Justice‘s rumored boyfriend Nicholas Hoult is also in talks to play Hank McCoy, also known as Beast.
X-Men: First Class is intended to be about the young Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast and others who attended Xavier’s school with them.
DO YOU THINK Lucas can pull off a mutant?
Lucas Till keeps it cool in a pair of Alexander McQueen shades in this new spread from June/July 2010 issue of DaMan Magazine.
The 19-year-old actor dished about blowing up stuff, dark haired girls and his admiration for his father. Check it:
On his new film, Battle: Los Angeles: “Yet another dream come true. At the ‘table read’ there were automatic weapons laid out. The next day, I attended boot camp, where I got to fire automatic weapons. Then, every day that I went to work, I got to blow stuff up and shoot automatic weapons at aliens. I can now die an even happier man.”
On his own role model: “My dad. Standup guy who you would have to be insane not to like. Always treats people with respect and he’s intelligent enough not to let idiots get away with being stupid.”
On his dream girl: “She would have to loooove video games, be spontaneous and adventurous, and have dark hair.”

Lucas Till has a tight grip on his gaming controller in this new shot from the new issue of Visual Tales magazine.
The 19-year-old Battle Los Angeles star fully admits he’s obsessed with a few certain games; Final Fantasy VII, Medieval 2: Total War, Fallout 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Age of Mythology, just to name a few.
Lucas shares, “I don’t know if I want to share this information [of how much I spend on the games], fearing people close to me would attempt to put me in gamer rehab. I mention these [games] because they really do the most damage to life. Reckless neglect of social life and even taking care of myself.”
JJJ reader Emily sent in this super cute pic of her and Lucas Till at the How to Train Your Dragon premiere in Universal City, Calif., on Sunday afternoon (March 21).
Emily writes to us about meeting the celebs, “Yesterday, I had the privilege to go to the How to Train Your Dragon premiere in LA and it was so much fun! I met a lot of really cool celebrities from the movie and even some that just came out for fun! Some of the people I got to meet were BooBoo Stewart. He was really nice and sweet and didn’t mind taking pictures with everyone there.
She continued, “Lucas; he was AMAZING! He was so kind and considerate! America Ferrera: She was so sweet and looked extremely pretty! Jonah Hill: he was funny as always and asked how my day was going. I told him it was going well because I just got a picture with him! He just laughed. Jay Baruchel: He was super nice and although he was in a hurry he stopped to take a picture with me. Gerard Butler: He is so cute! I almost passed out when I got a picture with him! Over all this was an AMAZING experience!”
Emily met just about everyone! Keep sending your celeb meets to tips[at]justjaredjr[dot]com!
