The 20-year-old actress teamed up with the comedy hip-hop duo Ben & Jensen for their new music video “In da Arcade” and we have the exclusive premiere.
You might remember the guys from their viral hit “Back to the 90s,” which got over 100 million views. Now their new video, which also stars MTV personality Melanie Iglesias, is all about video games from the ’80s and ’90s.
“After we built a global audience around nostalgia with ‘Back to the 90s’, we wanted to follow that project up with an even more epic throwback concept. ‘In da Arcade’ was born: we’ve spent the last year animating ourselves into over 40 iconic video games. Our new music video is really a massive homage to the arcades of our childhoods,” Ben said in a statement.
Jensen added, “The bangin’ hip-hop beat is composed mostly of 8-bit video game sound effects. We’ve also intercut custom animation with high-energy live action performances from the incredibly talented Kira Kosarin and Melanie Iglesias. It was fun to take another trip down memory lane on this project. We feel it will resonate with anyone who grew up playing Pacman, Donkey Kong and Mortal Kombat, as well as the younger generation because retro games are cool again.”
JJJ is really sad about this split — Ryan Guzman and Melanie Iglesias have decided to call it quits just before the new year.
Ryan, 27, broke the news on Twitter, saying, “Since everyone will eventually find out anyway, unfortunately I’m single again…”
The week before, Ryan was quoted in Latina mag about his relationship with Melanie.
“We had been talking on Skype for three or four months while I was filming [Step Up] in Vancouver. That’s a long freaking time to be doing that Internet type deal. So, after three or four months of talking through the computer, we finally got to see each other face-to-face,” he had shared. “We felt like we had known each other our whole lives, which is kind of amazing. I never would have thought that would happen.”
The 27-year-old actor was joined on the red carpet for the big event by his The Boy Next Door co-star Jennifer Lopez along with his girlfriend Melanie Iglesias.
