We have no idea how Hans, Prince of the Southern Isles, escaped his incarceration sentence in Arendelle or back in his own country in Frozen…but he did, and now he’s coming to Storybrooke too.
EOnline reports that he two-timing Prince will indeed be following the rest of the Frozen characters to Once Upon A Time.
This Hans is described as “refined and well-spoken on the outside, but he has a serious chip on his shoulder and an even more serious mean streak.”
So, not much as changed and JJJ still wants to see Kristoff punch the guy. Can’t let Anna have all that fun.
TELL JJJ: What do you think of Hans coming to Storybrooke? Who would you cast?
Georgina Haig gives us another glimpse of herself in costume as a live action Queen Elsa from Frozen on the set of the upcoming season of Once Upon a Time on Thursday (July 16) in Richmond, Canada.
The 28-year-old Aussie actress was joined on the set that day by her co-stars Jennifer Morrison and Colin O’Donoghue, who play Emma and Hook on the hit ABC series.
All we need is Georgina to start singing some “Let It Go” and we will be all set!
It was announced this week that Once Upon a Time will be returning to television on Sunday, September 28. We can’t wait to see the first episode with Elsa and the rest of the Frozen gang.

Check out your first look at Georgina Haig as Queen Elsa of Arendelle on the Once Upon A Time set!
The 28-year-old actress had her blonde hair all braided up in Arendelle fashion as she headed to the set in Vancouver, Canada, on Wednesday afternoon (July 16).
“Ahhhh blonde hair- sometimes I think you look quite nice, other times like village of the damned high school reunion,” Georgina jokingly tweeted earlier in the day.
On-and-off screen couple Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Jared Gilmore, and Colin O’Donoghue were also seen around the set.
Once Upon A Time will premiere on Sunday, September 28th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC. 30+ pics inside… More Here! »
Stop everything you are doing — ABC president Paul Lee just hinted that Once Upon A Time could bring a Frozen spin-off!
“We don’t have immediate plans for a Frozen spinoff, but they’re so inventive, those two…” Paul told EOnline at the TCA Press Tour earlier this morning (July 15), referring to executive producers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis.
He added, “Eddy and Adam are endlessly inventive, so they have glints in their eyes of stories that they can spin for years to come. So it certainly doesn’t rule out their ability or my ability to go beyond Once…Frozen is a wonderful asset. John Lassiter (executive producer of the Frozen film), himself flew up to Vancouver, he’s integrally related to the way we’re doing that. Adam and Eddy always have a twist on every story, so you can imagine their twist is going to be very different. But no, I think it’s the perfect time. We’re thrilled with it.”
Scott Michael Foster, Georgina Haig and Elizabeth Lail will play the three main characters — Kristoff, Elsa and Anna — on Once. Could they continue to a spin-off?
WHAT DO YOU THINK of a possible spin-off?
When JJJ found out that Scott Michael Foster was going to be Kristoff in the upcoming season of Once Upon A Time, we had two reactions.
The first was “Why didn’t we think of him for our dream casting?” (we promptly knocked our heads after that) and the second reaction was completely joy. We had a mini-dance party in our offices about the news.
Scott, 29, was kind enough to let us ask a few questions about his upcoming role on the ABC show and even a few about his recurring status as Leo on Chasing Life. Check out what he dished below!
JustJaredJr.com: Congrats on getting the role of Kristoff! Tell us how you prepared for your audition and how you celebrated after.
Scott Michael Foster: Well, I watched the movie with my nieces and nephews about a dozen times so I REALLY got to know who Kristoff was before the audition. I celebrated with my family, who happened to be in town when I found out I got the role, at a wonderful restaurant in beautiful downtown Studio City.
JJJ: Everyone is a closet Frozen fan. How many times did you watch it?

Elizabeth Mitchell, best known for her role on ABC’s Lost, has joined the new Frozen storyline for the upcoming season of Once Upon A Time.
The 44-year-old actress’s role is being kept under wraps, but according to EW, she’s set to play a “possibly malevolent” character “with ties to royal Frozen sisters Anna and Elsa as well as to Storybrooke and Arendell.”
Georgina Haig, Elizabeth Lail, and Scott Michael Foster were just recently announced as Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Kristoff for the upcoming arc and in case you missed it, check out show runner Adam Horowitz‘s tease of the first episode of season four:
It’s official – Once Upon a Time has found its Elsa!
