The real-life Australian besties are in town to film the upcoming Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals, which will air as a backdoor pilot this April.

Nikki Reed and Phoebe Tonkin team up with adidas to launch the new Energy Boost sneaker held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on Wednesday afternoon (February 13) in New York City.

The two were joined by actresses Rosario Dawson, Morena Baccarin, Maggie Grace, actor Anton Yelchin, rapper Big Sean and athlete Yohan Blake.

Phoebe Tonkin shows off her glamorous side in this new shot from Harper’s Bazaar Australia‘s Young Actor’s Portfolio.

The 23-year-old Aussie actress told the mag about the roles she’s offered, “I really love playing strong, ballsy characters, whether on television or film. It’s strange, I used to only get cast as the naive girl next-door, but then something happened and now the only call-backs I get are, like, the vixen or the mistress…the ones that cause trouble. Something happened when I turned 21.”

Now, according to THR, The CW is developing a Vampire Diaries spin-off with Phoebe‘s character Hayley and Joseph Morgan‘s Klaus.

The spin-off would take off around the April 25th episode where Klaus returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans, a town he helped build centuries ago, and is reunited with his diabolical former protege Marcel.

Callan McAuliffe mets up with fellow Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth inside the Qantas Air VIP Cocktail party held at the Montage Beverly Hills Terrace on Wednesday night (January 9) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The two actresses have teamed up for a health-focused website, YourZenLife.com, launching soon.

“We have great access to nutritionists and experts. We want to [pass on] the knowledge we have,” Teresa, 26, shared with the glossy.

Phoebe, 23, added, “Your Zen Life is not about living in a strict or militant way. It’s about balance.”

The girls are avid health foodies and when they’re not working, are hiking the latest trails.

“Phoebe and I have a great regime, we went for a hike for an hour-and-a-half today. Being out in nature just energizes my batteries,” Teresa dished.
