The 26-year-old actress joins the superfluity of dazzling nuns on stage to sing “Spread The Love Around.”

“I don’t know?” Raven told BroadwayWorld about her Broadway dreams. “That sounds really crazy, but I say that in a question because I’ve always wanted to do a musical that I grew up with, like Mary Poppins or Funny Girl. Now I get to do it, but on a stage and not in front of a camera, so I get the same satisfaction.”

“It’s everything that I expected, it’s fabulous,” Raven told The Huffington Post. “I’m having a great time. The cast and crew, we’re melding very well together. It’s cool to see the audience give us props at the end of the shows and it’s cool to be able to be a part of this community for the time that I’m allotted.”

Raven Symone is stealing the spotlight as Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act on Broadway.

In between her eight shows a week, Raven is sending thanks to her amazing fans.

Raven Symone snaps a group shot with Justin Long and Megan Hilty as they announce the nominations for the 2012 Drama League Awards at Sardi’s in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (April 24).

The trio announced the nominees for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award.

Among those nominated for the Distinguished Performance Award: Jeremy Jordan for Newsies and Bonnie and Clyde, newly married Carey Mulligan for Through A Glass Darkly , and Andrew Garfield for Death of a Salesman.

Raven Symone is coming back to Broadway!

Deadline reports that the 26-year-old actress is taking over the lead role in Sister Act at the end of February.

Raven will take over for Patina Miller as Deloris Van Cartier. Whoopi Goldberg, who played Deloris in the film and its sequel, produces the Broadway adaptation featuring original music by Alan Menken, which opened in April 2011.

Rehearsals will start at the end of February and Raven will make her debut at the end of March for a minimum six-month engagement.
