Cole Sprouse & KJ Apa Are In An Ugly Picture War

Cole Sprouse & KJ Apa Are In An Ugly Picture War

Riverdale co-stars and milkshake aficionados Cole Sprouse and KJ Apa aren’t just friends on-screen… they’re super comfortable with one another IRL as well!

The two have no hesitations about dragging each other on social media (or exchanging compliments for that matter — watch them read adoring tweets to each other) and the duo are currently engaged in a brutal ugly picture war on Instagram. (Well, actually, it’s not THAT brutal considering… you know.)

KJ incited the war, posting two pictures in succession of Cole flossing his teeth and sneaking into his tent at night, calling him a “small boy.”

Cole Sprouse Doesn't Want His Brother Dylan To Guest Star on 'Riverdale'

Cole Sprouse Doesn't Want His Brother Dylan To Guest Star on 'Riverdale'

Riverdale just concluded it’s first season and with a second on the way, there’s much talk about what’s going to happen.

There will be more of Josie and the Pussycats (yes!), maybe Sabrina Spellman and seeing just how Jughead handles himself on the southside.

However, there are two major things that star Cole Sprouse doesn’t actually want to see, the first being a musical episode.

“That is seriously the one thing that I have been like, please don’t make me sing,” he shared with EOnline.

“I just survived a Disney career without singing. I don’t want to, like, fall back in. I feel like I escaped, so if we could avoid it for as long as possible, that would be great.”

The second? His twin brother, Dylan Sprouse.

“That to me is also one of those things that one, I’m hard-pressed to think Dylan would ever say yes to and that I would ever approve of, and two, that wouldn’t break fourth wall,” Cole shared.

TELL JJJ: Would you want to see Dylan on there anyway?

Riverdale's Lili Reinhart Writes Powerful Message About Mental Health

Riverdale's Lili Reinhart Writes Powerful Message About Mental Health

Lili Reinhart has always been open about her struggle with depression, and today is no different.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness month, the Riverdale actress opened up about how deep of a depression she was in when the show came and how grateful she is.

“Exactly one year ago today, we found out that Riverdale was getting picked up for an entire season. I remember how I felt when I found out. I cried tears of joy. In that moment I became a working actress with a steady job. Something I had been working towards for 7 years and now here we are, gearing up to film season 2. And I could not be more grateful.

Riverdale came into my life when I was going through the worst depression I had ever experienced. And in the end it completely saved me,” Lili shares.

“Since it’s mental health awareness month, I figured it would be good to share that. I worked my ass off to make a living out of what I love and when I’m feeling depressed or sad, I remind myself how far I’ve come. And how I didn’t let my depression consume me.

“To anyone out there who feels depressed or hopeless… do not f****** give up on yourself. You’re all you’ve got. And you deserve the world. Your mental health should be your priority. Don’t forget that. This is your life.. and you’ve only got one. So don’t waste it by being sad. You will get through whatever you’re going through now. And you’ll be so much stronger at the end of it. You’re stronger than you know.”

Bughead Said 'I Love You' on 'Riverdale's Season Finale - What's Next For The Couple?

Bughead Said 'I Love You' on 'Riverdale's Season Finale - What's Next For The Couple?

A lot of things were happening in the Riverdale season finale.

Fred Andrews got shot, Archie and Veronica took a huge step in their relationship, Hot Dog made his debut, Cheryl almost committed suicide, and Jughead and Betty said “I love you” to each other.

So, what happens now with our fave Riverdale couple?

“They’re still very much together in season two, but as we saw in the finale Jughead is setting off on a different path,” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shared. “He’s going to a different school, living in a different area of town. Perhaps most significantly, it seems like he’s joining the Southside Serpents.”

He adds, “I think that will create obvious tension with Betty, assuming he tells her. There’s a chance Jughead will be trying to live a double life, one with Betty and one with the Serpents. That is absolutely a big story we’re telling with Betty and Jughead in season two.”

The big question is, will they last? Especially with Jughead joining The Serpents?

“I think that’s the question Betty is asking in that moment as she’s looking out the doorway and seeing Jughead put on the jacket,” Roberto says. “You can imagine that after the Serpents leave that night, probably Betty and Jughead are going to be doing a lot of talking and not much fooling around.”

Jughead's Dog Hot Dog Finally Made His Appearance on 'Riverdale' Last Night!

Jughead's Dog Hot Dog Finally Made His Appearance on 'Riverdale' Last Night!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for on Riverdale finally happened — HOT DOG made his first appearance!

Sure, the murder mysteries and relationship drama are fine and all, but this is HOT DOG!

“He really wanted Hot Dog. He really wanted a sheepdog to play Hot Dog. He was really passionate about that,” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa says of the canine making his appearance, thanks to actor and mega-fan Cole Sprouse.

Roberto adds, “It all happened at the last second. Basically, when we got the dog, I said to Cole, ‘We’re going to try and make this work, but if this dog comes in and he can’t deliver as Hot Dog, we’re just going to do the scene without Hot Dog.’

“And he was like, ‘That dog better deliver.’ And the dog did great! You’ll be seeing more of Hot Dog in Season 2 for sure.”
