Shawn Johnson and Andrew East are less than two days away from being a married couple!

The 24-year-old Olympian and her football player husband-to-be will tie the knot this weekend with their friends and family surrounding them.

Speaking with People ahead of her nuptials, Shawn dished that she was a bit overwhelmed by wedding planning: “I’m feeling a little overwhelmed because you never realize how many small details crop up so close to the wedding. Seating arrangements, trying to find ceremony music, picking up favor bags, writing cards.”

She added about Andrew, “Everything is right about him! The more I wasn’t trying to impress him by being that celebrity girl or Olympic gymnast, but was just my weird, awkward self, the more he loved me. And it just became more and more comfortable.”

Shawn and Andrew are still planning one more date before their “I Do”s: “We’re going to start distancing ourselves from one another before the wedding but we want to go on one last date night as boyfriend and girlfriend to build the excitement for this weekend.”

Inspired by her own experiences as a fifteen-year-old Olympic gymnast, “The Flip Side” features high school sophomore Charlie Ryland and her secret quest to become one of the best gymnasts on the planet. Charlie may seem like your average high school teenbut she’s just really good at pretending. Outside of school, Charlie spends all her waking hours training and is determined to keep her double life under wraps.

“The Flip Side” will hit shelves on June 7th, just as the 2016 Summer Olympic Games are getting started in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Shawn Johnson's Goal? She Wants To Run A Full Marathon!

Shawn Johnson may be busy planning a wedding, and working on her commentator game for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, and on top of that, she started a fitness and health website!

The 23-year-old gymnast chatted with Yahoo Health about her site, her own fitness goals and more. Check it:

On creating a blog: “For me, it was kind of like, what if I could build a place for these girls to go that was just as cool, but there is no negative association? It was health, and beauty, and fun, and ‘you’re perfect the way you are – but here are some workouts.’ And it kind of took off.”

On her own struggle with her body: “When I first went on [DWTS], I was 16, and I turned 17 on the show. Going from this strict, regimented schedule to going through puberty on national TV and gaining weight, and just being kind of a huge target for criticism, was just really difficult for me.”

On turning into a trainer: “I originally did it for myself to learn, and to learn all the details, but I love training. I coach gymnastics a lot, clinics. I just want to take it further [] Having gone through it, I don’t think I could ever be that strict on a girl in gymnastics. I’m more like the fun side of the clinics and camps.”

On her getting healthy motto: “The most important thing that I would have wished had been ingrained in me when I was little is: Everything in moderation. It’s OK to have cookies. It’s OK to have ice cream. It’s OK to indulge – or not. Everything in moderation.”

On her workout goal: “I want to [run a full marathon]…but it also sounds miserable. Every time I’ve passed a half-marathon finish line, I can’t imagine doing a full one!. But you see people of so many sizes and ages cross the finish line, and I’m like, ‘OK, you can do this.’”

On returning to gymnastics: “I’m getting back into it. Not to compete, but there’s a tour next year that I could potentially be doing.”
