Also starring Sophie Turner, Barely Lethal is directed by Kyle Newman and centers on a 16-year-old assassin who fakes her own death in pursuit of a “normal” adolescence.
The film is expected to release in 2014.

Dove Cameron and Thomas Mann are the latest names to join Barely Lethal.
The 17- and 21-year-old actors will star along Hailee Steinfeld and Sophie Turner in the flick.
According to THR, Dove will play Liz Larson, the Queen Bee of the high school where Meghan (Steinfeld) relocates to. After moving in with Liz, and they become best friends and she helps her acclimate to school, and comes to her aid then things get tough.
Via Deadline, Thomas will play Roger, Meghan’s secretly infatuated pal who’s stuck in the friend zone as she sets her sights on a more popular boy.
Good news for Thomas Mann fans – the actor has joined the cast of a new indie comedy called Welcome to Me!
According to The Wrap, the 21-year-old Project X and Beautiful Creatures actor will join Bridesmaids actress Kristen Wiig in the flick, which is being produced by Will Ferrell.

The movie revolves around a woman (Wiig) suffering from a personality disorder who wins the lottery and decides to finance a cable access talk show in which she discusses her life. Thomas will play an art student who is a big fan of the show and eventually has a steamy encounter with the hostess.
Thomas Mann heads out of Newsroom Cafe on Wednesday afternoon (March 6) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The 21-year-old actor grabbed a bite to eat before heading out to some meetings.

“It’s got a lot of personality and a lot of humor that those movies are lacking,” Thomas shared with Nola.com about his new film, Beautiful Creatures. “I guess people aren’t expecting it to be funny, but there’s a lot of humor in the movie.”
He added, “I just hope that people go see it and they like it and I hope they like it enough to where we get to come back and do it all again.”
Thomas Mann suits up sharp for the premiere of Beautiful Creatures held at TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Wednesday night (February 6).
The 21-year-old actor plays Link in the film, out on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.

Alden Ehrenreich and Thomas Mann share a laugh while signing copies of Beautiful Creatures at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles on Saturday night (February 2).
The two actors were joined by co-stars Alice Englert and Zoey Deutch and authors Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.
“Alice and I from the beginning wanted to make this film as funny, offbeat, and unusual as possible,” Alden dished in a Q&A on the movie’s official Twitter yesterday with fans. “Because we both knew that about each other we got along really well from the minute we met and had a lot of fun shooting the scenes together, which Richard [LaGravenese, director] allowed us to play around in as much as we wanted and I think you see that onscreen.”
He added about Lena and Ethan’s relationship, “I liked that even through their struggles and frustrations, they always stayed together and fought through their problems for the sake of their love.”

“I think Link helps provide a good balance to all the dark, supernatural stuff that’s happening in the movie,” Thomas recently shared in an interview. “Ethan can come back to his friend who’s always been there. Link is kind of a goofy guy but he’s the only normal one.”
