The Trolls are back for the upcoming third movie Trolls Band Together, and there are several new voices joining the franchise!
Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake are reprising their roles of Poppy and Branch, respectively, for a new adventure in the music-filled animated franchise.
The new story picks up after the events of the summer hit movie Trolls World Tour, and will feature much of the same voice cast as Netflix’s Trolls: The Beat Goes On.
Here’s a synopsis: Inspired by the beloved DreamWorks Animation films, now that Poppy knows there are other musical trolls scattered throughout the forest, she bottles up her endless positivity and invites delegates from every troll tribe in the forest to live together in harmony in a grand experiment she calls TrollsTopia!
Here’s what the new movie is all about: Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) discover that they are but one of six different Troll tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger and a whole lot louder.
A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom), aided by her father King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne), wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme.
With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends — Biggie (James Corden), Chenille (Caroline Hjelt), Satin (Aino Jawo), Cooper (Ron Funches) and Guy Diamond (Kunal Nayyar) — set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who’s looking to upstage them all.

Trolls World Tour is set to debut in theaters in Spring 2020.
The actress, who voices Poppy in the movie franchise, shared sneak peeks with her fans on Instagram Stories last night that she was back in the booth for the upcoming film.
“So keyed up,” she captioned with a shot of a piece of sheet music. “JT is pretty talented.”
The second film is still set in Troll Town, where Poppy and Branch (Justin Timberlake) learn there are others of their kind, and a different genre of music defines each.
However, they will be all in danger when a mysterious threat puts them all across the land and the group of friends have to go to an epic journey in an unfamiliar place.
