Tyler Posey shocked fans when he seemingly came out as gay in a Snapchat video, but now he is apologizing for offending fans with the fake coming out.
The 24-year-old Teen Wolf actor made the video while walking around New York City on Friday (July 29) and coming across Gay St.
“This is me. I am this and this is me. I have never felt more alive. I’m gay!” Tyler said in the video.
“I am a big proponent of love over hate, and standing together during divisive times,” Tyler said in a series of tweets after deleting the video. “Although I’m not gay, I fully support the LGBTQ community. This was a moment intended to reflect that. And everyone, I am truly sorry to the people I’ve offended or lessened how big coming out is. I just want to spread love in this world.”
[Part 2]: Although I'm not gay, I fully support the LGBTQ community. This was a moment intended to reflect that.
“Scott is single and they’re focusing on other relationships this season, so stay tuned,” Holland shared when asked if a Stiles and Lydia relationship would finally be happening for the last season. “That’s the soundbite I’m allowed to give.”
She added later, “It’s back to solving the Beacon Hills crimes. Malia brings the physicality and Lydia brings the banshee supernatural aspect to it. Between the two of them, they make a great duo.”
The 24-year-old actor will voice Prince Alonso in the series, “a charming prince from the Argentine-inspired Kingdom of Cordoba” who will possibly lay his charms on Elena (Aimee Carrero). We mean, you can’t cast Tyler and not have that outcome, right?
“I’m so excited to see it,” Tyler told us on the press line for Teen Wolf. “To voice a cartoon character is one of my dreams.”

The show will run through 2017, and will end with its’ 100th episode.
“Teen Wolf has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could’ve ever imagined,” Jeff shared on the panel. “We’re eternally grateful for the support we’ve received over these past six years and we’re excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure.”
“When we realized that the show wasn’t going to have Kira Yukimura this season, we wanted to ask ourselves, ‘Does Scott always need to have romance in his life to be a compelling character?’ We thought this might be a season where we don’t see that side and we see him struggling a little bit,” showrunner Jeff Davis told EW. “He’s had two great romances: One was the very epic and tragic romance with Allison, and we wanted to do a sort of romantic comedy side with Kira. But this season sees Scott as a single guy just trying to graduate and be there for his friends while facing yet another supernatural crisis.”
Tyler added, “It was something I’ve always been interested in because from the very first episode of Teen Wolf he falls in love with Allison and then they break up and he immediately meets Kira so there wasn’t really much single time for Scott. In my experience, in Tyler Posey’s world, it’s kind of always been that way too. This is the first two years I’m really single, so I relate to it with Scott and I thought it was something that every person has to go through in their life, grow on their own and really figure out who they are. That’s kind of what’s going on with Scott.”
