Big Time Rush Go Gold in Mexico!

Big Time Rush hang on to a Mexican flag during a press conference in Mexico City, Mexico on Friday afternoon (September 30).

The guys — Kendall Schmidt, Carlos Pena, Logan Henderson and James Maslow — were presented with gold record plaques for their debut album, BTR.

Eduardo Lebrija, Senior Vice President Senior and General Manager of Nickelodeon/MTV Networks Latin America shared in a statement, “We welcome Big time Rush, a band that extends beyond the screen, and one of the most successful Nickelodeon shows worldwide. They have reached the top of the charts with their album and television series, thanks to their talent, charisma and hard work. We are very pleased to have them in Mexico.”

This is all four guys’ first time in Mexico — they’ll be performing concerts in the city on October 1st and 2nd.
