Chloe Moretz Tricked Martin Scorsese

Chloe Moretz joins former costar Blake Lively on the red carpet at the Gossip Girl 100 episode celebration held at Cipriani Wall Street on Saturday night (November 19) in New York City.

During press for Hugo, the 14-year-old actress dished to Vulture that she actually tricked director Martin Scorsese with her British accent.

“I actually tricked him. It was hilarious. I was speaking in a British accent all the way through the audition. He was like, ‘Wait! You’re American? No way, kid �” the whole time I thought you were a Brit.’ I was like, ‘Thank you, Marty.’”

FYI: Chloe was in head-to-toe Stella McCartney.
