Lorde Performs at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction!
Lorde hits the stage for a performance with Nirvana at the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held at the Barclays Center in New York City on Thursday (April 10).
There were four women that joined the living members of Nirvana on stage to perform with them and help induct them into the Hall of Fame.
Lorde was the youngest of the women and performed “All Apologies.” Joan Jett sang “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” Sonic Youth vocalist Kim Gordon took on “Aneurysm,” and St. Vincent performed “Lithium.” The ladies were joined by bassist Krist Novoselic, drummer Dave Grohl, and guitarist Pat Smear.
Something interesting to note is that Lorde was born two years after the band’s lead singer Kurt Cobain passed away.
FYI: Lorde is wearing a Vionnet tuxedo.
