“I play a guy named Jackson Kale and he is this smart guy who likes doing his own thing,” Spencer recently said about his character. “The movie deals a lot with cliques and certain groups and my character doesn’t really fit into a group. He isn’t a jock � he has his own thing going and I think that’s cool. It’s what originally attracted me to the role.”

The week before, Spencer reunited with Debby Ryan and her boyfriend Josh Dun up in the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles.
