Ian Somerhalder Jets to Comic-Con After Spending the Weekend with Nikki Reed

Ian Somerhalder keeps a red scarf around his neck as he arrives at LAX Airport to catch a flight on Thursday (July 24) in Los Angeles.

“I think there’s this really cool thing happening this weekend in San Diego.I think it’s called #ComicCon not sure though.Does anyone know?” the 35-year-old The Vampire Diaries star tweeted to his fans jokingly. We can’t wait to see Ian at 2014 Comic-Con!

Ian caused quite the stir when he tweeted out a link to Nikki Reed‘s Instagram earlier in the week. “iamnikkireed’s photo some one please give Kate a GREAT HOME!!!! PLEASE!” Ian wrote, along with a link to a dog who needs a home.

Ian and Nikki looked very affectionate over the weekend together.
