Hunter Hayes Wants You To Sing Him 'You Are My Sunshine'

Hunter Hayes gets comfy behind his piano in this shot from filming his Whirlpool ‘You Are My Sunshine’ Contest video earlier this month.

The 23-year-old country singer teamed up with the appliance brand for their Every day, care� campaign, which honors the often unsung caregivers who keep lives on track by doing the washing, cooking and cleaning.

“Since my first performance at age four, my parents have given me unconditional care and support. It’s because of this support that I’m living my dream,” Hunter shared in a statement. “I thank my parents in a lot of ways, often through my music, and I’m partnering with Whirlpool brand to give someone the opportunity to honor a loved one in a similar way.”

You can upload your video of your version of “You Are My Sunshine” to Whirlpool.com, where a panel of judges will pick a winner. The winning performance will air on a commercial during 2015 GRAMMYs in a 30-second commercial.
