Vanessa Hudgens 'Felt Out of Place' For Broadway Audition

The 26-year-old actress recently opened up about auditioning for her Broadway show Gigi, which opens up on Wednesday (April 8).

“In a building that’s the epicenter of Broadway auditions, all the possibles were singing their hearts out. Trying so hard. I felt out of place. I was nervous. Terrified. I started reading the lines, and it somehow felt right. I did the scene I’d prepared. They asked me to do another, which I hadn’t prepared,” Vanessa shared to PageSix.

She added, “Not happy, I went into another room and worked on it. They gave me 10 minutes. Recording my voice on my phone, I did my best. Memorized as much as I could. They gave me no notes and a few hours later they called me.”
