Shawn Mendes Exceeds Goal On #BuildASchoolWithShawn Campaign

All Shawn Mendes needs is a guitar and his fans for his set during Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour stop at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday night (October 31) in Tampa, Fla.

The 17-year-old singer recently set up a campaign to help build a school in Ghana with Pencils of Promise and he’s exceeded his initial goal with a whooping 164%!

“I’m so excited we were able to raise enough funds to build a school for the kids in Shia, Ghana,” Shawn shared. “This means the world to me that my fans joined me and supported such an amazing cause.”

Shawn raised funds through a Represent Campaign, which allows fans to purchase exclusive merchandise with proceeds benefiting the organization.
