Justin Bieber Explains Why He Can't Perform 'Purpose' in Argentina
Justin Bieber is sending out his apologies to his fans after he revealed he cannot perform on the Purpose tour in Argentina.
The 22-year-old entertainer took to Twitter to explain.
“Argentinian beliebers I would like nothing more than to bring the #purposetour there but the Argentinian government won’t allow it. So sorry,” Justin tweeted. “If things were to change I would love to come but at this time I cannot. For everyone else in South America I look forward to seeing you”
Years ago, Justin was accused by the Argentine government of desecrating the country’s flag by kicking it off stage when he was performing in Bueno Aires. Then, in 2015, an arrest warrant was issued over an assault issue with a paparazzo in the country. The warrant was eventually revoked.
Argentina I do love you. It is in fact one of my favorite places to tour. I wish this was not the case. My lawyers say it is what it is.
