Meghan Trainor Explains Her 'Tonight Show' Fall

The 22-year-old singer recently fell down during her performance on The Tonight Show.

“I was down there and I was like, ‘This is comfy – I’m gonna just lay here until something else happens,’ and he came down and I was like, ‘Thanks for laying down next to me, man,’” Meghan told Extra.

She added, “My heels were very tall, they were platforms, but they were taller than I usually do� I never had a problem, I really didn’t till that moment in time. I was so excited that we nailed it that I spun around to say thank you and I went down thinking this little mic stand could hold me and it didn’t. My coach is like, ‘You gotta get back on that horse and try again.’”
