Olivia Holt Says Debut Single 'Phoenix' Isn't Your Typical Empowering Song

The 18-year-old singer performed her new single, “Phoenix” ahead of a Q&A session with fans.

Speaking with Idolator earlier, Olivia opened up about her debut song.

“It’s an empowering song. I don’t think I had heard a song like that in forever and it stuck out to me. It’s unique. It’s not your typical empowering song,” she shared.

Olivia added, “It has lyrics in there for adults. It has lyrics in there that are for kids. It has lyrics in there for people who just need that extra self-confidence to succeed in life.”
