Derek Hough Plays Ping Pong For Kershaw's Challenge

Derek Hough tries out his hand at ping pong during Clayton Kershaw’s 4th Annual Ping Pong 4 Purpose Celebrity Tournament held at Dodger Stadium on Thursday (August 11) in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old actor stepped out to raise monies for two of Kershaw’s Challenge’s marquee partners, Dream Center LA and CURE International and honored Dennis Gilbert with the 2016 Kershaw’s Challenge Impact Award.

Speaking with ET recently, Derek opened up about Hairspray Live!

“Grease definitely raised the bar as far as the way it was shot and the way it was done,” he shared. “And for this musical, it kind of lends itself to that similar style, I suppose.”

Derek added, “We have a great team, amazing directors, amazing camera operators. They’re actually building a studio for us just for this. It’s pretty incredible.”

Derek is also pictured heading to lunch earlier in the day in Los Angeles.
