Elle Fanning Opens Up About '20th Century Women' Character Julie

Elle Fanning sports a cute tennis-inspired outfit while out in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (September 29).

The next day, the 18-year-old actress was spotted running a few errands and trying to beat the heat wave in a red top.

Speaking with Schon magazine recently, which she covers, Elle opened up about her latest movie character — Julie in 20th Century Women.

“She was a great character to play � the transformation of her � because she does grow up but she’s still young,” she shared. “It was kind of perfect. You know, I’m 18, but am I an adult? Technically I am but I don’t feel like one yet. That was the first more grown up, young woman that I’ve played, which was nice.”
