Will There Be a 'Vampire Diaries' Wedding in This Final Season?

We can’t help but wonder how The Vampire Diaries will come to an end – especially when it comes to all the couples!

Executive producer Julie Plec was recently asked about that very thing.

What will happen between Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice King), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev), and Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey)?

“Well, when you’re going towards the end, you can do anything you want,” Julie told ET. “You can tear a couple apart violently, you can bring a couple together forever, you can declare love epically. You can do anything you want — and we intend to do all of it.”

What about that wedding that fans are hoping for?

“Well, certainly if you made a list of things that everyone has been wanting to see, it’s up there on the board,” she said.
