Grace VanderWaal Talks About The Worst Song She's Ever Written

Grace VanderWaal is talking all things music!

The 13-year-old America’s Got Talent winner stopped by the Elvis Duran Z100 Morning Show where she performed “I Don’t Know My Name,” which you can watch below.

Grace also did an interview and here were some highlights:

On how she got started: “I wasn’t always poetic, but when I was little I used to write songs about random things. The worst song was about a shadow underneath my door, I think I still have it somewhere.”

On judge Howie Mandel: “I don’t keep in contact with him. He was nice, he would gives hugs and fist bumps, I think that was something he was working on in therapy. However, he didn’t like anything open palm. Everyday he would have his staff provide him all new make-up and set it up perfectly because of threat of germs.”

On her fans: “Most of the time all of the love my fans provide is heart-warming and amazing. Sometimes there are weird encounters.”
