OlderExclusive: Lilimar Pens Heartwarming 'Letter to Mom' for JJJ's Mother's Day Series
Lilimar Hernandez may be only 16 years old, but the Venezuelan actress has already managed to charm the world with her performance as Sophie on Nickelodeon’s Bella and the Bulldogs, a show about breaking barriers and balancing teenage life.
She definitely couldn’t have done it without her mother’s jokes.
Every time we see Lilimar and her mom, they make you feel warm and loved and special.
For our multi-part Mother’s Day series, Lilimar wrote a letter to her mother, Mayte Ruiz Hernandez, to tell her how much she means to her.
Dear Mom,
It’s kind of hard to explain just how much you mean to me in one little letter.
It would take more than a thousand words to fully thank you for everything you’ve done for me, but here’s a couple! Thank you for all your sacrifices. Thank you for all your wise words. Thank you for all the jokes. Thank you for all the care.
Most importantly, thank you for all your love. Precisely because of you, is why I am able to succeed in such a hard industry, and never lose myself as a person or as an artist. Can’t wait for many more adventures with you! (Btw thanks for actually laughing at all my lame jokes, means a lot ;)
