In the glossy, the ladies — Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Jade Thirlwall — opened up about how their music is evolving and it reflecting who they are as women.

“I think we’re maturing as women, our music isn’t going to be bubblegum forever, it is getting a bit more sexy,” Perrie says. “We love a bit of romance! We’re never like ‘yeah, give it to me!’

She adds, “We’d never do an album just about sex, or an album just about dancing with a guy in a club…”

“We’re women who embrace our own sexuality,” Jade also shared. “If men are allowed to rap about it, then women are allowed to sing about it.”
