Vanessa Hudgens Approves of 'High School Musical' TV Series

Most of us let out a collective grown when Disney announced that a High School Musical TV series was on it’s way.

The upcoming show would make its’ debut on the streaming service that Disney is setting up in 2019, along with a Monsters, Inc. and Star Wars-inspired series, too.

While we did grown about it, being true HSM fans and all, at least one Wildcat is supportive of the project — none other than Gabriella Montez herself, Vanessa Hudgens.

“That’s awesome!” she told Cosmopolitan about the idea. “I grew up watching musicals. I love musicals. So I feel like the longer we can keep them alive, the better.”

So, would Gabriella pop up at all on the show?

“I dunno!” Vanessa shared. “I mean, we’ll see. If they ask, who knows.”

We’re thinking that if she did, it would be in the form of a vintage poster for Twinkle Towne.
