The Golden Fleece is a symbolic recognition. The King decided to give it to Leonor for “reasons of tradition and continuity and the desire to institutionalize the figure of the Princess of Asturias as heir to the Crown”.
Later on at the ceremony, the royal family met with “Que Es un Rey Para Ti” competition winners.
