Phoebe Tonkin Is Looking For More Australian Roles

Phoebe Tonkins picks up a bouquet of fresh flowers while out at the farmer’s market in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (March 18).

The 28-year-old former Originals star also picked up a few food items before heading back home for the day.

In a recent interview, Phoebe opened up about looking for more Australian roles, so she could stay in her home country.

“I started on a kids’ television show in Australia so I did feel like I was being pigeonholed a little bit as that type of actor,” she shared, adding that her most recent tole in Safe Harbour was something she “fought” for.

“It was really hard to prove to people that I was capable.”

She’s also really wanting to go back to Australia for future roles.

“I just think the standard of work here is so high and there are so many incredible Australian filmmakers and actors here, but I would of course love to stay here,” Phoebe shared.
